Family may grow in different directions,
but they forever share their roots

Nothing is more universal to the human experience than the need for connection with others. A lack of authentic connection impacts each individual and the family as a whole. Our family can really “push our buttons”, because they programmed our buttons. Family therapy is about giving each person a place to be heard – with the goal of increased understanding and healthy interdependence.

Family therapy with me is fundamentally non-blaming and non-shaming. Sometimes parents hesitate to participate in therapy because it feels like a moral failing – it is not. Your family’s well-being supersedes these harmful messages. Family therapy is a brave act, for this generation and the ones to follow.

I help families:

  • Remain connected amid life transitions

  • Navigate distress related to a family member’s mental health and/or substance use

  • Process a family member’s emerging LGBTQ+ identity

  • Grieve the loss of a family member

  • Blend/integrate families or new family members

  • Navigate divorce and separations

  • Increase communication and connection

go spend a week with your family.”
