A note on session length

Session times are not exact. They can be a few minutes more or less than outlined above. I will use therapeutic discretion to guide a given session’s length.

Sliding Scale

I have a limited number of sliding scale appointments available. Priority is given to students and those whose identities have historically been underserved by mental health providers (BIPOC, AAPI, LGBTQ+, and differently-abled).

Fees are inclusive of our session time, as well as treatment planning, record keeping, and supervisory consultation* with Sara Cameron.

*As an Associate, my work with you is overseen by Sara, which essentially means you have two therapists collaborating on your progress!

Insurance

While I am not on insurance panels, you may be able to get reimbursement for our work together if your insurance covers therapy with an “out-of-network provider.” Contact your insurance provider to learn more about whether or not this is an option for you, and how much they would cover. You would be responsible for the full payment at the time of our sessions, and I would provide you with a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Utilizing insurance requires a formal diagnosis and not everyone seeking therapy meets the criteria for a diagnosis. If you do meet the criteria for a diagnosis, please know that your reimbursement rate may vary based on whether or not your insurance company considers therapy to be “medically necessary.”

In compliance with the No Surprise Act, a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges will be made available for each client.

I choose to work outside of the umbrella of insurance providers; limiting their involvement allows the therapeutic process to have more privacy and autonomy.
